Childhoods innocence

In childhood’s innocence, we used to play

Running, skipping, jumping in the sun

Happy memories of games that filled our day

Hide and seek, pretending we could stay

Lost in dreams of joy, our hearts undone

In childhood’s innocence, we used to play

If only we could go back to that way

Where happiness and laughter always won

Happy memories of games that filled our day

The past holds secrets we cannot betray

But in our hearts, the memories still run

In childhood’s innocence, we used to play

Sunshine and laughter, in our hearts they lay

The joy of youth, forever young

Happy memories of games that filled our day

So let us cherish the moments that may

Bring back the happiness we once spun

In childhood’s innocence, we used to play

Happy memories of games that filled our day.
