3 things challenge! June 4th

Welcome to the Three Things Challenge. Every day at 10PM (PST) I will post three seemingly unconnected things that will, hopefully, ignite your muse. You
don’t have to use all three things if you don’t want to. There are no restrictions on length, style, genre, or anything. Simply read the prompt, see where
your muse takes you, and bring us along for the ride. Use 3TC as a tag if you’d like and link back to this prompt, or post your link in the comments below
so others can find you.

Today’s prompt: surgeon, Chicago, doorknob

The surgeon lived in Chicago. He loved where he lived. He worked in a leading hospital, and he loved his job. He saved peoples lives every day, what could be a better job than that!
He had gone down to the hospital café to have breakfast. He sighed happily as he sipped his coffee! Suddenly the doorknob turned and another surgeon walked in.
Hurry, hurry he said! Your needed upstairs!
Quickly they both left their cups on the table and rushed out of the room!

Today’s prompt: lease, cannibal, silver

*****
Shirley wore a silver bracelet that was very important to her. It had been her grammas bracelet. Her gramma had recently passed away. It was the only item of her grammas she had taken, she treasured it.
She walked slowly up the path to her grammas house. Today was the day they were cleaning out the rest of her grammas things. The lease on the house was up. Her gramma had been renting it.
Oh how she missed her sweet gramma!

Today’s prompt: memorial, hamburger, frisbee

It was memorial day. Karen and her family were enjoying the holiday. They were having a cookout. They were going to eat hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, and other goodies. They couldn’t wait to start cooking, memorial day was always a special holiday for them. The kids played with a frizbee in the yard while they waited for the food to be done. Even their family dog, rover joined in. He chased the frizbee around the yard and barked at the kids. At 9 years old he was old, but he could still run like a puppy and he still acted like one.
Come on kiddos, the Foods ready, Karen called, come on guys, time to eat!
The kids ran to get some food! The sun was shining, it was going to be a great afternoon.
