So here goes here is my take on it!
Help! She screamed as she jumped up out of bed! Something had startled her. She had heard a noise.
What is it? Her mom said running in!
I don’t know! She was shaking now, and starting to cry.
Big tears rolled down her face, as her mom hugged her tight.
Your ok! Nothing can harm you! Its going to be ok!
She tried to soothe her little girl, but she was so fearful it was difficult to get her to calm.
I thought, I thought someone was breaking in to our house!
No, no no! No one was doing that her mom soothed!
Now come on, come downstairs with me and I will make you a mug of hot chocolate!
The little girls eyes lit up at that suggestion. She hugged her mom one final time and then got out of bed and followed her to the door.
Are you sure its ok? She peeked around the door.
Yes, sweetie her mom said, I’m sure. Now come on, lets go!
