Jim Adams is the wonderful host of song lyric Sunday. And this week he’s given us a fantastic prompt.
Jim says this:
This week you can write about either the movie or the song, or both. Everyone should be able to find a song that is featured in a movie and works with this prompt.
Here are the “rules”:
•Post the lyrics to the song of your choice, whether it fits the theme or not.
•Please try to include the songwriter(s) – it’s a good idea to give credit where credit is due.
•Make sure you also credit the singer/band and if you desire you can provide a link to where you found the lyrics.
•Link to the YouTube video, or pull it into your post so others can listen to the song.
•Ping back to this post will eventually work, as long as you are being patient, but you can also place your link in the comments if you don’t like to wait.
•Read at least one other person’s blog, so we can all share new and fantastic music and create amazing new blogging friends in the process.
•Feel free to suggest future prompts.
•Have fun and enjoy the music.
I love movies, but musicals are my thing, I really enjoy them, having been in stage school for years, I took part in many, many shows.
Heres a song I really love, from a more up to date musical called hairspray, this musical is amazing, and if you have a chance, watch it.
You wont be disappointed!

Bee halton of the bee writes
Becky of beckys mental mess
Rory of a guy called bloke and doodlepup
Thought you could all use a little pick me up! Happy Monday!
So well, the prompt for bee’s love is in da blog today was to find a love song from 2019. But I am going to cheat.
I love the song I’ve chosen. I chose it even though it is a song from last year. Its from the movie a star is born. And its a brilliant love song.
What do you think, do you like this song?
The movie is an awesome one too!
Day 2: A song with a number in the title?
Its day 4 of the 30 day music challenge.
today, the challenge is as follows
A song that reminds you of someone you’d rather forget
This is easy for me. For this I am picking a paramore song. I choose this because it reminds me of a friend I had a few years ago. This friend had did, but our friendship ended, she turned out to be a bit of a psycho.
She was very abusive and very manipulative. It just wasn’t good to stay friends with her, so we didn’t.
The song now brings back a lot of memories when I hear it. Memories of being in Disneyworld in florida with her and she’d play this song over and over on her Ipod.
A song that reminds you of summertime
Hmmm. There are sooo many!
But well this one I love!
Its my summer anthem of 2018!
