Well guys, I am awake, I am up, I am dressed! Yes, I am back in the land of the living!
Yesterday was a right off!
I could not function at all! I did not go to therapy, because I was too tired after hardly getting any sleep the night before!
So I basically slept, slept some more, and then slept some more.
I am sorry if you were all worried about me! I didn’t mean to worry you all!
I am so sorry if I did!
I basically only got up for 2 hours yesterday, when my PA Trish came.
We cooked dinner, and then once she left I went back to bed.
I am not sure what caused me to be so tired, although, the doctor in south doc that I spoke to did say high blood sugar can make you extremely tired.
My blood sugar is at 10 this morning, but that is normal for me.
I tried to ring my GP yesterday to get an appointment, but I couldn’t get one.
I have to ring back this morning to try to get one.
It’s impossible to get an appointment, I mean, I called the GP’s office at 9 AM, how could all of their appointments for the day be gone already?
Unless people got online and booked them all up!
Anyway, Hoping today I’ll have better luck.
The sooner I can get into the diabetic nurse the better!
That would make sense that high blood sugars could wipe you out of energy. But I’m glad you got a lot of sleep. Hope you can see the GP soon.

I’ve got an appointment for this afternoon, so I’m going to have a phone consult and then we’ll see what he has to say 💛💛

People will go into a coma at 600 (I believe for you it would be around 30). I had a blood sugar of 1,400 and was still conscious at my highest. I have type 1 Diabetes that was caused by having Lymes Disease. I ended up being in a coma for 40 days at that point. Long story. Here is a link to my story, if you are interested. https://ceenphotography.com/about-2/my-lyme-disease-story/

Oh my goodness, I never knew that you could go into a coma when it’s over 600, I really need to be careful of mine. I’m going to really watch it closely now

It takes almost 3 months to get in and see my doctor. That’s fairly normal around here. You can see his physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner in about 2 days. If you need attention sooner than that you have to go to the emergency room. We have a quick-med place, but if you get there when they open, you might have as much as an 8-hour wait, and if you get there later, you have to come back the next day. Our healthcare is not too great here, as well as costing a fortune.

People in the US are jealous of your healthcare. It’s awful here, and so expensive. People will go without important care for fear of bankruptcy. We need universal health care, but people just won’t vote for politicians who’ll do it. Republicans and the common corporate Democrats won’t do it, they’re in the pockets of the insurance and drug industries. More progressive Democrats almost never get elected.
