It derives from a common drinking idiom. It’s basically, you take a shot and then something immediately after it (usually to remove the taste or burning sensation of whatever you just drank). For example you do a tequila shot with a lime chaser. I have found the best coffee chaser is just more coffee LOL

I usually get m latte when we get McDonalds breakfast out. So that would be Sausage McMuffins. If I just get a latte I usually just drink the latte. I only get a latte once or maybe twice a week. 😀

A colleague of Hubby’s made one for my birthday. It was a coffee flavoured sponge sandwiched together with fondant cream and topped with more fondant cream and half walnuts. I did share…………… a little

I prefer drinking coffee with no food. Although when available, I pair it with something sweet, like a donut (very common I know) or cake or maybe some bread. 🙂

I tend to drink my coffee and drink water with breakfast. Unless it is bacon and eggs. Then there must be coffee. 🙂

The first thing that came to mind is a cinnamon roll, but I hardly ever have those. If by “favorite” you mean something I do have regularly and love, I’d say a stroopwafel.
