I am home now from my parents house. I came home about 2 hours ago. I enjoyed my weekend and will probably spend next weekend there again, I wasnt planning to do that, but this morning mom asked me if I’d come over on the weekend. I think she feels more comfortable and safer when I am around. Our weather is very cold today. Right now its only 6 degrees C, thats 42.8 F! I was happy to get my packages from my neighbour, John, the taxi driver got them and brought them into my house for me. One of them was very heavy. They are DVD’s and I started ripping a few this afternoon. A sad thing happened though. I broke my external CD rom drive for my laptop. All I did was plug out the cord and then it wouldnt go back in, I think a piece of it snapped and is still in the little hole where you plug it into the laptop. I have my desktop which has a CD rom drive on it, so for now I am using that. I will get a new external CD rom drive on Friday when I go grocery shopping. Frances is coming back to work tomorrow mornning. I am excited. I am looking forward to seeing her. We can swap stories about our christmas. Plus, I am glad to get back to some sorta normal routine. It will help my mood. Speaking of my mood, I am feeling ok today, I woke up after getting 7 hours of good sleep and I felt great. I didnt go to bed until 1 AM last night, but when I fell asleep I slept right through until 8 AM. I got a new mug from my aunt for christmas, and its a big one, so I just made myself a mug of coffee just now. I put on the heating as my house was very cold, since the heat was off since last week. Luckily my house doesnt take too long to warm up so it won’t be long before I am all warm and toasty. My mom is feeling a goot bit better, her cold is still hanging around, but it hasnt gone down into her chest, thank goodness. She’s still taking antibiotics and steroids and some cold medicine to help her. Well that is about it for now. Hope your all having a good monday. Its a bank holiday here in Ireland, so it doesnt feel like a Monday at all. I’m definitely going to be glad that tomorrow is Tuesday and we can get back to normal…its so confusing, and all of my days are mixed up since before the holidays.
