Words cut deep

I ignore the awful voices

I hear them

Loud and clear

In my head, in my ear

I choose to ignore

Good over evil

I am worthy

And these voices

They are people from my past

But they aren’t here now

Them to enter my brain

I refuse to be drawn in

To their evil world

Where they put me down
