A victim no longer

In the embrace of security, I find

A feeling of safety, a love so true

A survivor of the past, no longer blind

To the beacon of hope, shining bright through

Through trials endured, a survivor stands tall

A testament to strength in the face

Of child abuse, a darkness that did fall

But love and hope now take its place

The past may haunt, but the future is clear

With a beacon of light to guide the way

To a place where love conquers fear

And survivor becomes a child at play

In the arms of security, I find

A feeling of safety, a love so kind.
