I’m not gonna be caught!

I just received a text claiming to be from revolute.

Not sure I spelled it right but…basically this text said my account was compromised.

Do I have an account with them? Nooo, I don’t!

So scammers, you can fuck right off!

I deleted the text from my phone, without doing anything!

I am not going to be your next victim!

Lately, I’ve also gotten messages claiming to be from our postal service, telling me that I need to pay customs fees on my item.

Did I do it? Oh no I didn’t!

Because, I know better! If customs fees were due on an item, I’d receive a letter in the mail.

I’m not going to be caught out! I’m not stupid scammers!

Just like, when I get phone calls claiming to be my phone company, or the health service executive, I know they are all scams!

Please guys…

Be careful! Be vigilant!

Scammers are everywhere, waiting to pounce!

  1. We get emails saying we’ve won a prize from companies we’ve never heard of or dealt with, text messages from delivery companies when we haven’t ordered anything, and the best, a text message saying Hi Mum, can you……………. deleted. I’m Mum to nobody! Another good reason we refuse to sign up for internet banking. I did have an email from some woman telling me all about herself and her plans (WTF?) and I responded to delete me from her data base. Next message more garb about her and her ambitions (spammed and deleted), then another saying she wanted to offer me a business proposition. Again spammed and deleted after telling her to desist from harassing me.
You have to be so careful because they are getting so believable.
