Fried onions

February 27, 2023, prompt: In 99 words (no more, no less), write a story about a golden onion. Any golden onion. One planted or harvested. An onion chopped for a meal. How can you use an onion as a prop in a character’s hand? Go where the prompt leads!

I love fried onions. I could eat them all day long!

On hotdogs, or burgers, or with a nice juicy steak!

You can’t beat a fried onion! They are so delicious!

Oh and, I forgot about onion rings! Those are yummy too!

Done in the oven, or in the air fryer!

I think I’ll have steak for dinner this weekend, oh, my mouth is watering now thinking of fried onions and steak!

Even just the smell of the onions cooking, oh, I could sit and smell that smell all day long!

Who wants to come to my house to eat?
