Slept all day!

Yes! I did I slept the entire day away!
Baaaad me!
But well, I am not really bothered. I needed the rest.
Sometimes you just do, right? Well for me I felt exhausted so I did need to just sleep, and sleep I did today.
I only woke up to eat breakfast, and dinner, now though, I’m wide awake. But I only have to go volunteering in the afternoon tomorrow, so it doesnt really matter if I stay up half the night.
And more importantly, I feel very rested, which is nice.
Have you ever slept an entire day away?
And did it help you if you did?

  1. I’m glad you’re rested now, that’s really good you caught up on sleep. For me it happens rarely that I sleep for the entire day, I try to avoid it because my circadian rhythm is already screwed up so it would be hard for me to get back to any civilised sleep/wake routine. But it sometimes does happen, usually when I have a migraine or something and don’t feel like and can’t do actually anything else than just stay in bed, and sleep is often the best cure for it. Sometimes when I am very badly depressed I can sleep and sleep and sleep, and it may be hard to motivate to do anything else. 😀
