Dear little me

Dear little me,,

I know that right now, you might feel small and insignificant. You might feel like you’re just a tiny part of a big, overwhelming world. But I want you to know that you are so much more than that.

You are a bright light, shining brightly in the darkness. You are a spark of curiosity and wonder, asking questions and seeking answers with a heart full of innocence and excitement. You are a dreamer, with big aspirations and desires that are just waiting to be chased.

As you grow up, the world will try to dull your sparkle. It will try to convince you that you’re not good enough, that you’re not strong enough, that you’re not worthy. But I want you to know that none of those things are true. You are enough, just as you are. Your worth and value come from who you are, not from what you do or what others think of you.

Remember the way you used to play with dolls and stuffed animals, creating entire worlds and stories? Remember the way you would imagine yourself as a brave knight or a daring adventurer? Don’t lose that sense of imagination and creativity. It’s what makes life so magical and beautiful.

And when the tough times come (and they will come), remember that it’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to cry and to ask for help. But don’t let fear hold you back from taking risks and trying new things. You are capable of so much more than you know.

As you grow older, your body will change and your interests will shift. But don’t lose sight of who you truly are – a kind, compassionate, and curious person with a heart full of love and laughter.

Little me, I want you to know that I believe in you. I believe in your strength, your resilience, and your ability to make a difference in the world. Don’t give up on yourself or your dreams. Keep shining your light, even when it gets dark.

With love,

Adult me

  1. Amen! Beautifully written 💕🤗 We all need to reconnect with our little selves and forgive ourselves and re-remind ourselves that our mistakes were just that, mistakes. We need to remind ourselves of our strengths, resilience and courageousness.
