I am free, free to be me!

Here I sit

Contemplating life

Now that I am free

Free from abuse

Free from the pain and torture you put me through

Nevermore will you have power over me

I am free

Free to be me

I can express my views

And no, you hadn’t a clue

You stifled my voice

But now, I have a choice

I am free to run and play

Free to say whatever I want to say.
