Is it just me?

Or are others having trouble liking posts on wordpress?
I spoke to wordpress support, but they werent much help. They checked and said the like button was loading fine for them. But when I try to load it, my screen reader just says, loading, and no like button comes up.
They told me it could be a connection or browser issue. Well, up until earlier this week I had no issue with it.
Anyone else having difficulty with this?

  1. It seems to be happening with other people. I can’t remember who’s blogs. But I think two I looked at this week, their like button was waiting to load. Other blogs were fine that I visited before and after, so I think it’s a WordPress issue.
I use chrome browser on my phone.

  2. No, it is not just you. I have had this trouble on and off over the six years I have been blogging. Sometimes, it is a glitch in their system and sometimes I have to admit that it is simply human error on my part. I had issues with it yesterday (Thursday, May 28th) and it wasn’t human error. Thankfully, I am not having any issues today. Well, so far no issues today.

  3. 🙂 I have experienced your issue.

There are those moments when I have to refresh a blogger’s page in order for me to press the “Like” button underneath their blog post and there are those rare instances where I have to clear the cache in my web browser in order to press the “Like” buttons of my fellow bloggers.

The glitches in WordPress are endless.

I truly hope that your technical issue would be rectified in a timely manner.

  4. Doesn’t work for me either, and I know that more people have been saying the same on their blogs, so it must be a general issue. I’m using Firefox, and for me it’s been quite a bit longer than a week. But I’ve noticed that usually the like button does load eventually, you just have to wait ages for it, and refreshing the website doesn’t help.
