Making headway

She took the lead, with a headband on her head, and a clipboard in her hand, she started taking names.

“Let’s do this”, she roared.

If you didn’t know better, you’d be scared of her.

But under her tough exterior there was a softer side.

Finally, she sat down, satisfied that now she was making headway, and soon, soon the day would be over.

Then she could hope to finally be able to sleep.
