To my dedicated personal assistants

A helpful hand, a guiding light,

A personal assistant, day and night.

With support and care, they stand by your side,

Through life’s journey, with a gentle stride.

In blindness, they lead the way,

With love and kindness, come what may.

Their encouragement is a beacon bright,

A source of joy, in the darkest night.

Their smile can light up any face,

And bring a sense of peace to the place.

With gratitude, we thank them true,

For all the ways they help us through.

Their kindness is a precious gift,

A treasure rare, a heartfelt lift.

In their care, we find a sense of calm,

And in their love, a sense of balm.

So here’s to those who lend a hand,

Who offer support, in this busy land.

May their kindness be a guiding star,

That leads us to love and who we are.
