A wonderful day out with my sister

Well, as you all know, my sister, her kids and me went out for the afternoon yesterday.

We had a terrific day out.

We first had to drop off a bag to mom at the hospital, we couldn’t see her, we just had to drop the bag at reception.

We rang mom from the car, and talked to her. She was in good spirits. And we told her how much we wished she was going with us.

Mom told us to have a lovely afternoon, and send her loads of photos.

We decided to go to a market called the marina market for food, it’s a market that is open every day in our city, there is lots of restaurants there, we got there, parked up and went in.

We had a nice lunch of chicken curry and rice, and fries, and the kids had chiros and pizza.

There was a Christmas market on there, so we decided to look around it.

I got Nitro some dog treats, and we saw a beautiful poodle. The poodle was so fluffy, she was adorable, she was 3 years old. Her owner had pigtails in her hair, it was so cute.

After our browse around, we decided to go back into the city, we wanted to go to glow, which is the Christmas market in the city.

We got in eventually after being stuck in traffic forever.

We had to get in line for the Christmas village, as we hadn’t booked tickets online, but we weren’t lining up for long before we got in.

We walked around and took lots of photos. It was dark by then. It was 5:30 by the time we got into town.

The park where the Christmas village was was all decorated and it was lovely.

The temperatures started to dip, so we said we’d go home then, so at 7 PM we drove back to my house. We heard on the radio that there had been a car crash near to where my sister lives, and she still had to drive home. I told her to text me when she got home, as I was worried about her driving in the dark, and in icy weather conditions.

But she got home safely!

Once I was home, I called both mom and dad. Then I made some tea, and posted the pictures we’d taken on facebook.

I was in bed by 9 PM! I was exhausted!

I got a great nights sleep, only woke up at 5 AM! It was bliss!

I am so glad we had this day together, I love spending time with my sister, and we had lots of fun.
