Today you came
You helped me cook
We chatted as you worked
Our laughter echoing around the house
We cooked egg and chips
It was a slimming world free meal

The chips took a while to cook
We did them in the air fryer
When they were ready
I tucked in
And OMG were they tasty
We sprinkled chili powder on top
To flavour them
It sure did the trick
Then after I’d eaten
You sat and drank tea with me
We put the world to rights
Even Nitro got in
On the action
Making his presence felt
And when you left my house
I was done peopling
All I wanted to do was relax
And that’s just what I did.
