Maya was new to the school. She stood in the playground feeling very frightened. She hadnt lived in ireland for too long. Katie watched her from a distance, then she skipped over to maya.

Hi! She said, want to come play?

Maya hesitated.

Come on, I’ve got you, you can join in with me and my friends.

We’ll take care of you.

With that, Maya happily ran off with Katie.
