No good at saying no

Daily writing prompt
How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

Honestly? I’m shit at it.

I do really try to set healthy boundaries with friends, and I do try to say no when I can.

The problem is some people know I am a people pleaser, and I’d rather see everyone happy, even if that is to my detrement.

I am working with my therapist on doing more of the things that I enjoy, and being able to meet more of my goals.

I should not just do what every expects of me, and say yes to everything I’m asked to do.

  1. One of my sisters is also a people pleaser but my other sister and I call her a MUG. We get upset that people take advantage of her better nature. BTW, we’re both good at saying “NO.”
