Anxiety

Anxiety is showing its ugly face again
My heart is racing and my mind wont slow down
I am pacing the house to try to calm myself
But nothing is working that I have been shown.

Legs trembling, hands shaking
I am just a mess
I am trying to cuddle Nitro
In the middle of this madness.

This poem is not turning out like I want
But oh well, at least its getting it out
Thats all I can do right now
This anxiety, I could do without.

  1. I hope you feel better soon. For me, sugar and alcohol send me for a loop because they deplete my magnesium levels. Fortunately, yummy things like almonds, dark chocolate and avocadoes have good amounts of magnesium. : )
