All I wanted to do was get out of the house today. Take a taxi and go to Starbucks, so, that is just what I did. I wanted to take myself and Frances out to lunch. But no… my time was limited, we did not have time to eat out at a restaurant. I was rushed for time. The roofs and grass were full of frost this morning, it was minus 2 when I got up. Guess it is still cold. It is only 5 degrees Celsius out so I’m not surprised, but I was hoping it would warm up as the day went on. So, in the meantime, I’m brewing some coffee and going to find SOMETHING to occupy my time. I think I will read, I just don’t know which book I want to start, I have too many to choose from lol.

Carol, what a beautifully reflective and honest glimpse into your day. Even in the simple, sometimes rushed moments, there’s a quiet strength in how you care for yourself and Frances. Getting out, treating yourself to Starbucks, and still making plans for a shared lunch shows such a thoughtful heart.
