Sadje is our host for the what do you see challenge. She presents us with two images, one of a snow scene in Quebec and the other is of two corgi’s sitting together on a chair.
What do you see # 318- 8 December 2025 – Keep it alive
Here is my response. I’ve gone with the snow scene in Quebec, here is where the prompt took me.
Softly drifts the silent snow,
Down the lanes where lanterns glow.
Each flake whispers winter’s rhyme,
A tender hush of Christmastime.
Pine trees wear their crystal lace,
Moonlight paints the world with grace.
Footprints trail where children play,
Dreams arise in silver spray.
Warm lights shimmer through the night,
Homes wrapped tight in gentle light,
Voices rise in carols sweet,
Hearts find ways to softly meet.
And in the calm the snowfall weaves
Magic through the frost-kissed eaves—
A peaceful world in white array,
Holding close this Christmas day.
