After the storm, a soft light appears,
Breathing calm into the spaces fear once filled.
Cradled by time, the heart begins to
Discern what pain to release and what wisdom to keep.
Every small step forward becomes a triumph,
Flowing gently toward renewed strength.
Grace gathers in unexpected moments,
Holding the hurt without letting it define you.
Inward, a quiet courage unfurls,
Just enough hope to guide the way.
Kindness—toward self most of all—
Leads the spirit into softer days.
Mending is not a straight line,
Nor a hurried journey.
Open hearts learn to trust again,
Piece by piece stitching their glow.
Questions fade into acceptance,
Rest returning like an old friend.
Stillness strengthens the weary mind,
Teaching it to listen deeply.
Under the weight of release,
Vulnerable parts find room to breathe.
Wounds once sharp begin to soften,
Xylographic marks of the past losing their edge.
Yearning shifts into quiet peace,
Zeal for life warming the world within.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
