Well darn it!

Well, I’m not going to get my blood test results today. I got the wrong time, and when I rang the nurse was finished giving out results, she only gives results out from 1 to 1:30 each afternoon.

I thought the receptionist said she’d be giving them out from 1:30 to 2 PM!

Oh well. I’ll ring on Monday for them. I’m sure it won’t kill me to wait another few days.

I’m just curious to see how things are.

Hopefully I won’t get distracted on Monday, and forget to call.

I should probably set an alarm on my phone to remind me to call.

It is still raining hard here. I am so glad not to be out in it.

Think I’ll go read. I have two chapters of my current book left to read.

Aw, Carol, what a frustrating mix-up! But I love your positive outlook – a few days won’t make a difference, and setting a phone alarm is such a smart idea. Now, curling up with your book while the rain pours outside sounds like the perfect cozy plan for the afternoon. Enjoy those last two chapters!

You’re not the only one who gets things mixed up. A good book makes everything right.
