So my dad had an appointment today with a haemotologist. Mom went to it with him.
He was diagnosed with a blood disease.
Basically, his proteins in his blood are way too high.
The doctor said if left unchecked they could cause blood cancer.
She said depending on the results of the bloods they took today, he may have to have a bone marrow biopsy.
She also said that now that he’s gotten this diagnosis, they’ll have to keep an eye on his bloods.
He also got a call today from the fracture clinic, he fractured his spine last year due to having osteoporosis.
He has an appointment with the fracture clinic next Tuesday.
