Therapy Bits

I was up very early this morning, like at 6 AM!

I had set my alarm for 6:30 and mom had asked me to call her then, but she came out to the kitchen at 6 AM.

I was awake, so I got up then too, turning off the 6:30 alarm.

We got ready to leave. The taxi was picking us up at 8 AM!

We didn’t hit any traffic on the way to the hospital, so we got there by 8:15!

We made our way to the MRI department, and we had to fill out a form. It was a bunch of questions and all I had to do was tick boxes yes or no.

Then a nice lady came to talk to me about what would be happening. She explained everything in detail to me.

I was relieved that she did that.

She came to get me about 10 minutes later, and everything went off ok.

The bed I was lying on was very low and my back was hurting. She gave me something to put under my legs, to raise them up a little bit.

The noise of the machine was horrendous!

I was waring headphones, and she was able to talk to me and I could hear her.

The MRI took about 15 minutes. I was so glad when it was done!

She said I did very well keeping my head still.

The results will go back to my neurologist. But I won’t see her until January.

We were able to get a taxi relatively quickly and now I am back at my parents house. I’ll be staying here until Sunday afternoon.

I just had breakfast, some porridge, and toast, and a nice hot cup of tea.

No plans for the rest of the day just chill out.

It is freezing out there this morning, it was minus 3 degrees C when I got up!

We’re supposed to have rain later on this afternoon, so hopefully that’ll bring the temperatures up a little.

Mom is making homemade vegetable soup today for dinner, I can’t wait!
