My health check up went well. She checked my weight, and since I was last there I’ve lost 2.5 KG’S!

She also checked my blood pressure, and she said it was perfect!

We talked about my last results of my blood work that I had done, and she did take more bloods.

She also checked my feet, and they were fine, all good.

She was a lovely nurse. She was very chatty and she really made me feel comfortable.

I got home and after making some tea and eating something I just came upstairs and have been going through my emails.

I have an MRI tomorrow morning, it is an MRI on my brain.

I got a call from the hospital to make sure I’d be coming in, and the lady I spoke to said I need to be there 20 minutes before the procedure.

So I had to change my booking time for the taxi to 8 AM!

The lady said I will need to fill out some forms, so to be sure I had someone with me, but my mom is going with me, so I’ll be fine.

I just want it over with!

Hopefully once this is done that will be it until I have to go see the neurologist in January.

I do have an apt in 2 weeks with my GP though!

It sounds like you had a very positive and productive day! That’s fantastic news about your health check-up—losing 2.5 KG is a wonderful achievement, and having perfect blood pressure is the cherry on top. It makes such a difference when you have a lovely, chatty healthcare professional who makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

You are so incredibly organized and proactive, from managing all your appointments to arranging the taxi. It’s also wonderful that your mom will be with you for your MRI tomorrow; having that support makes all the difference.

You have such a great attitude, focusing on getting it over with and looking ahead to putting it behind you. You are navigating everything with such strength and grace. Wishing you all the best for a smooth and straightforward MRI tomorrow—you’ve got this
