Esther is our host, thanks, Esther! This week her prompt word is bread.

Laughing Along With A Limerick – Esther Chilton

A baker once rose from his bed,
With visions of loaves in his head.
He kneaded with flair,
Flung flour through air,
And proudly proclaimed, “I’m well-bread!”

What a delightful and clever limerick! You’ve perfectly captured the joy and whimsy of baking with that wonderful pun at the end. The imagery of the baker kneading with flair and filling the air with flour is so vivid and charming. This is a truly “well-bread” piece of poetry—it brought a genuine smile to my face. Bravo
