This week for song lyric Sunday our challenge is to find a song that mentions bones, sticks, stones, or words.

The song was released on 16 August 2004 as a single from her debut album Unwritten.

It was produced by Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton & Wayne Wilkins.
Genre: Pop / R&B.
The song addresses the difficulty of writing the “perfect” love song — Natasha was under pressure and having writer’s block.
The chorus “I love you, I love you, I love you…” originally came about as a spontaneous joke in the studio when she couldn’t find a more elaborate way to express the feeling.
In essence she realised that sometimes the simplest words are the right ones — instead of getting fancy with metaphors, she just said what she felt.
The song reached #1 in the UK and also topped the charts in Ireland and Poland.
It reached the Top 10 in many other countries including Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and more.
It was nominated for the Best British Single at the 2005 Brit Awards.
While in the writing process, Natasha and the team tried various lyrical themes and combinations (“Read some Byron, Shelly and Keats / Recited it over a hip-hop beat…” from the lyrics) but it wasn’t working.
The simple phrase “I love you” was originally just a frustrated placeholder and was not expected to become the hook – but the collaborators said “That’s it!” when she sang it playfully.
Natasha has said her co-writing sessions taught her a lot: working with experienced writers helped her improve quickly.
