Therapy Bits

My mom called me earlier tonight to tell me my aunt had been taken away by ambulance.

When I asked what was wrong, she informed me that she had gotten bitten by something, and she was having an allergic reaction to whatever it was that bit her.

She was brought to hospital, and seen and apparently a spider bit her.

The doctor said that her immune system was down, causing her to be allergic to the spider bite.

He gave her a course of antibiotics, and told her to go home and rest, as her blood pressure was very low.

I did not realise we had spiders in Ireland that could cause such a reaction if they bit you.

Remind me to stay clear of spiders!
