Silent winter sky,
snowflakes drift on whispered winds—
earth wears a white hush.

Family gathered,
wrapping paper hides the mess,
laughter warms the cold.

You expressed the dampening of sound when it snows so well in the first one, and the second reminds me of the joy of Christmas, Carol Anne! Good job. 🙂
