My choice to heal

My choice to heal and recover from my mental health struggles has been one of the most courageous decisions I’ve ever made. For a long time, I carried my pain quietly, believing I had to bear it alone, but I’ve learned that seeking help is a strength, not a weakness. Healing has not been a straight path—there are days of progress and days of setback—but each step teaches me patience and compassion with myself. I am beginning to see that recovery is not about erasing the difficulties I’ve faced, but about building resilience and learning to live with more balance. Choosing to prioritize my well-being has opened the door to hope, self-discovery, and deeper connections with others. Most of all, it reminds me that I deserve peace, and I am worthy of the life I am working toward.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
