I detest the word finance. I live week to week, on a small budget. I have to manage my money, pay all of my bills, get food and have something left over if I am lucky for myself, and maybe for a coffee, or another type of treat.

It isn’t often that I have money left over to do fun stuff.

Our government said that this year in the budget they are not giving us anything towards cost of living. I am very annoyed at this. It is so unfair. Everything is going up, food, electricity, gas prices, etc. Nothing is coming down.

How do they expect us to manage and to live?

It is no wonder some people are afraid to turn their heat on, and so they sit in the cold. I refuse to not turn on my heat, but it does mean I have to put a set amount each week into my account so that I’m able to turn it on.

The icy weather will be coming soon, so we’ll need the heating on.

I bet the politicians aren’t freezing and I bet they have heat.

If only we all had as much money as the politicians have?
