The sky forgot to shine today,
Its silver turned to gray.
No birds to sing the dawn awake—
Just silence in dismay.
My coffee lost its warming touch,
The mirror frowned back too.
No rhythm in the morning rush—
Just echoes feeling blue.
The laughter of the world feels far,
Like stars behind a veil,
And every step I take alone
Leaves footprints frail and pale.
But still, I know the tide will turn,
That clouds will drift away,
And from this ache a strength may bloom—
A brighter shade of day.
For even blue, in deepest hue,
Can hold a spark of light—
A gentle truth the heart still knows:
Some blues belong to night.
