#Fowc: Secular

Thanks Fandango for setting today’s challenge. Our word for today is secular.

FOWC With Fandango — Secular – Facts, Fictions & Fantasies

In a quiet, secular village nestled between misty hills, beliefs bloomed like wildflowers—varied and vibrant. No temples or churches crowned the skyline, yet every soul found peace. An old woman lit candles for memory, not deity; a boy sketched galaxies, worshipping wonder. Festivals honored seasons, not saints, and joy was shared without scripture. When a traveler asked, "What do you believe in?" the baker smiled, flour on his hands. "Kindness. And good bread." Here, secular wasn’t absence—it was presence, of respect, of freedom, of quiet awe. And under stars indifferent yet infinite, the village thrived—together, curious, and free.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
