Edgework

Thanks Di for the prompt, and for hosting 3TC! Our words today are cut, prick, sharp.

Three Things Challenge: MM48 | pensitivity101

A blade of dawn begins to cut,
Through velvet night, abrupt, abrupt.
Its whisper slides where silence slept,
In dreams the shadows closely kept.

A thorny thought, a prick of doubt,
Winds through the soul, inside, then out.
It nestles deep, too sly to flee,
A seed of sharp uncertainty.

Steel tongues of truth, they gleam, they flare,
They speak with cuts too clean to bear.
Yet in the sting, some wisdom wakes—
Sharp pain is real; the rest are fakes.

So walk the edge, both keen and kind,
Where prick and cut and sharp remind:
Though wounds may bloom from hidden art,
It’s proof that something touched the heart.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
