An ode to my therapist

Ode to My Therapist

A Tribute to a Guiding Light

To the Beacon of My Healing

In the labyrinth of woven thoughts and tangled emotions,

You stand as the lighthouse, guiding me to the shores of self-discovery.

With gentle words and a heart open to my sorrows,

You untangle the knots within my soul, one strand at a time.

Understanding and Empathy

In your eyes, I find a reflection of my unspoken tales,

An understanding that transcends the spoken word.

You listen, not just with ears, but with your heart,

Embracing my vulnerabilities and fears.

Every session is a sanctuary, a retreat from the world’s noise,

Where empathy flows like a river, cleansing my spirit.

The Alchemy of Words

Through the alchemy of words, you transform my pain,

Turning the leaden weight of my burdens into the gold of self-acceptance.

Your voice, a soothing balm, calms the storm within,

Leading me to the path of resilience and strength.

Each dialogue is a step towards healing,

A journey we embark upon, hand in hand.

Unveiling the Layers

With patience and wisdom, you peel away the layers,

Revealing the essence of who I am beneath the masks.

You challenge and nurture, pushing me to grow,

To face the shadows and embrace the light within.

In your presence, I am free to be my truest self,

Unburdened by judgment, embraced by compassion.

The Gift of Self-Discovery

Through your guidance, I have come to know myself,

To understand the intricacies of my being.

You have given me the gift of self-awareness,

A treasure that shines even in the darkest of times.

With every breakthrough, I am reborn,

Stronger, wiser, and more in tune with my inner truth.

A Journey of Transformation

Together, we have walked the path of transformation,

A journey marked by tears and triumphs alike.

You have been the steady hand that lifts me when I falter,

The voice of reason when doubt clouds my mind.

In the tapestry of my healing, you are the golden thread,

Weaving resilience and hope into the fabric of my life.

Gratitude Beyond Words

No words can fully capture the depth of my gratitude,

For the countless ways you have touched my life.

You are not just a therapist, but a beacon of hope,

A healer of hearts, a guide through the stormy seas.

In the narrative of my journey, you are a pivotal chapter,

An ode to your dedication, compassion, and grace.

Eternal Thanks

As I continue to grow and evolve, I carry your wisdom,

Etched into the core of my being.

Your lessons are the compass that guides me,

Your support, the foundation upon which I stand.

Thank you, dear therapist, for being the light in my darkness,

For helping me find my way to the shores of healing and peace.

Beautiful. Therapy is so costly, dear. I tried, but could not continue due to financial reasons. I opted for DIY breathing exercises, meditation, and a book by Louise Hay-” You can heal your Life.’, and I’m happy that I did.

You are right therapy is very costly. I believe it’s worth it though I’m glad I’m doing it. 💞💞

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
