The search for truth

My thanks to Fandango for providing today’s Fowc prompt.

FOWC With Fandango — Autonomy – Facts, Fictions & Fantasies

In the quiet of midnight,

where shadows weave between memories,

I search for truth,

not the polished version,

but the raw, aching essence,

the kind that lingers like a ghost,

whispering secrets of

the past.

Scars map my skin,

each line, a testament—

to battles fought,

to resilience,

to the delicate dance of pain and joy,

fingers tracing the weathered contours,

reminding me that autonomy

is carved from the rubble

of yesterday’s storms.

In some sacred corner of my soul,

my story unfolds,

a tapestry stitched in the shadows,

woven with threads of sorrow

and shards of laughter,

binding every fragment of me

into something whole,

something fiercely alive.

Somewhere, in the depths of despair,

I find strength blooming,

reaching for the sun,

an echo of hope rising,

devouring the silence,

and I rise anew,

arms wide,

ready to embrace the unraveling,

the unfolding,

the ever-becoming

that is my truth.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
