Weight loss is a tale of woe and cheer,

With difficulty lurking very near.

In the morning, I plan a brave run,

But my bed’s the only place I won.

For every reason I should step away from fat,

There’s a snack saying, "Hey, look at that!"

My fitness goals bulge like my dreams,

Yet my flab stubbornly redeems.

Exercise bikes become laundry racks,

Diet plans face midnight snack attacks.

Oh, the comedy of trying to be fit,

When chocolate’s a friend I just can’t quit!

Love the “Exercise bikes become laundry racks” and the final couplet. Nicely done! Thanks for writing to that three-word prompt!
