Brain health

Jim Adams asks us for this week’s Friday faithful’s prompt to talk about brain health.

For me I like to try to stay as healthy as is humanly possible.

Sometimes it doesn’t always work out.

For instance, I don’t get good sleep. For the last couple of months, I have not been watching what I am eating.

But I promised myself for the new year that this would all change.

Now I have a goal of getting healthy and fit and losing some weight for my sister’s wedding in June.

Another thing about brain health is stress levels. I try to keep mine down. I am not always successful at it but I do try hard.

Also I know certain foods help brain health, so I try to eat those when I can.

Exercising is another thing I am going to do a lot of this year. I am going to walk on my treadmill daily, and try to do some other kinds of exercises too.

Keeping active by using my brain daily is going to keep my brain healthy, so if I write daily, read daily, and do other things that will challenge me, then my brain will stay active and healthy.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Manyofus1980@gmail.com

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
