Well, funny the prompt word is food.
I just went out for lunch today with my mom and sister.
We were out doing the last bit of Christmas shopping this morning, my sister had some presents to get.
I have all of mine gotten, and mom does too.
But we went with her anyway.
After she finished off her shopping we went for lunch. We went to a little coffee shop called O’brien’s!
They do coffee, cakes, and sandwiches.
I had a sandwich, and a mug of tea.
They had a new sandwich on their menu, so I had to try it out.
It was cajun chicken, cheese, pulled ham, pickle, cole slaw, and a spicy sauce, it was delicious.
Mom and my sister got breakfast toasties, which had sausage, bacon and relish in them.
The food was so good. And the atmosphere too. There was a lot of Christmas spirit.
My sister paid for our lunches, so I told her that after Christmas, when mom and her and I go to the pantomime, that I’d pay for lunch for us all afterwords.
It has been a nice day.
It definitely is starting to feel very christmasy!
