In the small town of Willow Creek, the annual gingerbread contest was the highlight of winter. Clara’s output was a towering replica of the old church, complete with sugary stained glass. But as she placed the final piece, a gust of wind snatched her creation, sending it sprawling to the ground.

Devastated, she sank to her knees, only to hear laughter. The town’s children gathered, eyes sparkling. “Can we help?”

With floury hands, they rebuilt it together, transforming her loss into a masterpiece that sparkled in the moonlight. That night, Clara learned that sometimes, joy is sweeter than sugar.
