Finding courage

Our 3 words for Wednesdays #3 things prompts were: Wall, tall, and ball.

Here is my response.

https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2024/11/06/three-things-challenge-m870/

In the silent echo of the night,

where walls rise tall,

echoes of flashbacks dance like shadows,

each corner a reminder—

the weight of trauma,

the brush of loss,

the relentless grip of grief.

I stand, alone,

erect in my vulnerability,

a solitary monument to battles fought.

Fear whispers in the crevices,

a constant challenge that gnaws at resolve,

yet within this fragile heart,

a flicker of strength persists.

The journey is not linear,

but a tapestry of healing,

woven with threads of sorrow and elation,

each stitch a testament,

to what it means to move forward,

to seek peace amidst the clamor,

to rise again from the ashes,

reborn in the laughter of dawn.

I embrace the labyrinth,

where every twist and turn shapes me,

and though the walls may seem insurmountable,

I find the courage to scale their heights,

to see beyond the confines,

to know I am not alone—

in this dance of shadow and light,

strength whispers softly,

guiding me home.
