The sky grows dark, the wind does moan

Heavy droplets beat upon the ground
A soothing melody, all around
The scent of wet earth fills the air

The world awakens from its sleep

The storm’s drumbeat echoes through the night
A symphony of sound and light
Water’s gentle touch, a calming hush
As worries fade, and troubles rush
In puddles, reflections stare up high
A mirrored world, with tears of sky
Rain’s steady beat, a lullaby sweet
As darkness fades, and morning meets
The storm subsides, the sun appears
A rainbow’s promise, through the tears
The earth is fresh, reborn anew
