On Memorial Day, we pause to pay
Tribute to the brave, who gave their way
In military service, they stood tall and true
Their bravery in war, a debt we’ll always renew
With hearts full of love, they marched into the fray
Their courage unwavering, come what may
Through blood and tears, they fought for our rights
Their sacrifice, a beacon that shines through the night
Their memories we hold, like precious stones
A reminder of the price they’ve made their own
The war’s bitter toll, the scars they bear
But even in death, their love remains fair
We honor their memory, with every tear
And vow to never forget, their sacrifice so dear
For those who served, who gave their all
We’ll remember you, standing tall
So let us raise our flags, and sing our song
In gratitude and pride, we’ll sing all day long
For those who wore the uniform, with hearts so bold
Their bravery in war, a story to be told
On Memorial Day, we’ll gather ’round
To pay our respects, to those who’ve gone down
In military service, they gave their best
Their love for country, a sacrifice we’ll never forget.
