Sitting on the dock
Water lapping at my feet
Sitting on the dock
Immersed in a book
Next time I look
I see ripples
Ducks quacking
Fish swimming
It is so nice here
And I don’t want to leave
So I will just sit and relax
Get immersed in my book
And before I know it
Hours will have passed by.
