In the shadows of guilt and shame,
The abuser lurks, seeking to maim.
Their words like daggers, cutting deep,
Leaving scars that never sleep.
The innocent prey, a little girl,
Trapped in a world of fear and swirl.
Praying for escape, for a way out,
From the darkness, from the doubt.
Childhood stolen, innocence lost,
The target of cruelty, at a great cost.
But in the midst of sorrow and pain,
There is hope for healing, a chance to gain.
To rise above the evil and the cruel,
To find the strength to break the rule.
To speak out against the abuse,
And let the healing process loose.
So let us not be afraid to speak,
To stand up for the innocent and the weak.
For in our words and actions bold,
We can bring light to the darkness cold.
