I fear many things. I fear death, although sometimes I want to die. I fear snakes, spiders, but bees and wasps and anything that stings is right up at the top of my list. Have I ever been stung? Nope. But I’m terrified to be stung. I fear not fitting in anywhere in this world. I fear aloneness. I fear rejection. I fear abandonment. I fear the dark. I could go on and on but this is enough I think. It gives the reader a small snapshot into the world of my fears.
Fear’s grip tightens fast
Take hold of my trembling heart
Chills run down my spine
In the darkness, I find peace
Embracing the unknown path
